Information

Arte Sempre, or art always, is our name and our mantra. We integrate art into everything we do. Our t-shirts, bags, sweatshirts, swimsuits, etc are hand silkscreened with original art by Zio Ziegler.

Wearing Arte Sempre is a statement that we chose a life of creativity, spontaneity and freedom. "Art Always" says it all--everything about life is creative, every moment of life we are creating, and by bringing our awareness to this simple fact (wearing Arte Sempre t-shirts, sweatshirts, bathing suits, carrying Arte Sempre bags, etc. to remind us) we experience how free our choices can be.

T-Shirts

Each T-shirt has a vintage soft feel and they are all hand silk- screened. The imagery on each shirt comes directly from Zio Ziegler’s drawings or paintings. The goal is to offer a selection of imagery on t-shirts in the same way an artist would usually do a series of prints. The t-shirts allow the art to be visible in your everyday wardrobe and accessible by price.

Sweatshirts

Each sweatshirt is also hand silk-screened. The fronts of some of the sweatshirts have a sewn in tiger patch while others have a hand silk-screened moon.

Bags

We currently have two different styles of handbags. We have the “Drop Cloth Clutch” which is fully handmade. Each Clutch is individually silk-screened and each one has a unique vintage button. The “Painter’s Bag” is our messenger style handbag that is also handmade. The bags are hand dyed and hand-painted by Zio Ziegler. They are also all lined with different fabrics from around the world, mainly kikoy cloths from Africa.
